Giant Flower Hire & Purchase Conditions

Our giant flowers are handcrafted to order and each booking involves preparation, transport and installation. These conditions help make sure everything runs smoothly for you and for us.

Booking & Notice

• Giant Flower hire bookings require a minimum of 21 days’ notice.
• Your booking is confirmed once the required payment has been received.
• Because flowers may be made or reserved specifically for your event, bookings are subject to the availability of the flowers, colours and dates requested.
• Custom flower styles, colours and sizes can be requested and will be quoted individually.

Payment

• A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking when sufficient notice is provided.
• The remaining balance is payable before your event.
• Bookings made within the final payment period must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Security Bond

A refundable security bond of 50% of the hire cost may be required for Giant Flower hire.

The bond is held as security against damage, loss or unreasonable handling of the flowers and equipment during the hire period.

The bond will be returned following collection and inspection, provided the flowers and equipment are returned in good condition.

For smaller hires of two or three flowers, the security bond may be waived at our discretion.

Delivery, Installation & Collection

• Giant Flower hire is provided as a full-service hire, including delivery, installation, pack-down and collection as agreed with you.
• Delivery within 0–20 km is $195.
• Delivery within 21–60 km is $295.
• Locations more than 60 km from Oberon are individually quoted.
• The hirer is responsible for ensuring suitable access to the venue and that the installation area is ready when we arrive.
• Flowers must not be moved, dismantled or altered without prior agreement.

Care of Hire Flowers

Our giant flowers are handmade and should be treated with care.

The hirer is responsible for the flowers and associated equipment from installation until collection. Damage or loss caused by misuse, moving the flowers without permission, or unsuitable conditions may result in some or all of the security bond being retained.

Outdoor Events & Weather

Giant paper flowers are not designed to withstand rain, strong wind or other severe weather conditions.

For outdoor events, the hirer is responsible for providing a suitable sheltered or protected location. We reserve the right to decline installation or relocate flowers if conditions are likely to cause damage.

Cancellation

Because Giant Flowers may be prepared specifically for your event, cancellation fees apply.

• More than 21 days before the event: 30% of the booking fee
• 11–20 days before the event: 50% of the booking fee
• 10 days or less before the event: 100% of the booking fee

The security bond is separate from cancellation fees and will be refunded where applicable.

Postponement

If your event needs to be postponed, we will do our best to accommodate a new date.

Bookings may be transferred to another date within 12 months, subject to availability. Any additional costs associated with the new date or location will be discussed before the booking is confirmed.

Flower Purchase

Flowers may also be purchased outright rather than hired.

Purchase prices are quoted individually based on the flowers, colours, sizes and quantity requested. Purchased flowers become the property of the customer once payment has been received in full.

We understand that events don’t always go exactly to plan. If something unexpected happens, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll always do our best to find a practical solution where we can.
