Bag Charms & Door Danglers

Design and personalise a bag charm and a door dangler using timber, paint, beads, tassels and a little sparkle. Kids can mix materials and colours to suit their own style, creating something fun and functional. A perfect take-home piece for school bags and bedroom doors.
Mini Makers Secret Notebook

10.30am – 12.30pm
Create a handmade mini notebook from scratch using cardboard covers, folded pages and ribbon ties. Kids will experiment with colour, pattern and simple bookmaking techniques while designing a special place for secret codes, cool ideas and private thoughts. Each child leaves with a one-of-a-kind notebook or two they’ve made themselves.
Robot Laboratory

10.30am – 12.30pm
Build your own dancing robot or a robot claw hand using a mix of creative materials and simple mechanisms. Kids will explore movement, problem-solving and playful design while constructing their robot creation. A fun, hands-on workshop with plenty of personality.
Mini Makers Junk Journal Notebook

10.30am – 12.30pm
Create a handmade junk-style journal using layered papers, folded pages and simple binding techniques. Kids will experiment with shape, texture and layout while building a playful notebook for drawing, writing, collecting and creative ideas. Each child leaves with a unique journal they’ve designed and made themselves.

What to Wear?
Comfortable clothes and shoes are best. Kids activities can some times be a bit messy.
Minimum & maximum numbers of children
Minimum for the workshops to run is 2 children
There is a maximum of 10 children per session
Booking & Arrival
Bookings are essential to ensure workshops are fully prepared and run smoothly.
Full payment is required on or before the day of the workshop.
Please arrive 10 minutes early at 87 Oberon St, Oberon, to allow time for settling in and to discuss any individual needs or behavioural considerations.
Supervision
I’ll lead all the creative fun and ensure everyone is engaged and everything flows safely and smoothly. I have a valid Working With Children Check and NSW Police Check.
Accessibility & Facilities
Garden of Wire Creative Workshop is located in one of Oberon’s historic buildings and has some accessibility limitations. Entry is via two low, wide steps. The toilet is located outside, accessible via two steps and a narrow side pathway, and is a standard Australian brick outhouse with limited space.
Important: Children must be able to use the toilet independently.
