The Crafted Grove – Wire Tree Workshop
Duration: 2 hours | Guests: 1 to 10 guests | Cost: $50 per person
Join this wire shaping workshop to learn how to make your own tree sculpture using spirals of wire, old bed springs and simple macramé if you wish. Personalise your creation with an array of embellishments like beads, ribbons, bells and buttons, then choose between displaying it on a rustic timber base or in a delightful terracotta pot.
This workshop is designed for beginners and welcomes all skill levels. You’ll be guided through each step of the process in a supportive and encouraging environment, allowing your creativity to flow freely.
Enjoy a calming and relaxing experience as you feel the joy of crafting something unique with your hands.
Depending on the time, we’ll aim to give you the chance to create two or three wire trees to take home—each one a whimsical reflection of your creativity and style.

FAQ’s
What to Wear?
Comfortable clothes and shoes are best, wire can be very unforgiving on clothing, so nothing fancy is ideal. Kids activities can some times be a bit messy. No Sunday best, just comfy clothes that can take a bit of creativity!
Do I need to wear gloves?
Yes! If you would like to wear gloves, we ask you to bring your own sturdy garden style of gloves for hygiene purposes. Some gloves are available, they are washed after each lesson.
Minimum Numbers of Participants
Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 2 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don’t reach this number, we’ll cancel the class; in this case we’ll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class
Accessibility
Garden of Wire Creative Workshop is located in one of Oberon’s old buildings and has some accessibility limitations. The entry is via two low wide steps. The toilet is located outside via two steps, a narrow side pathway and is a “typical” Australian brick outhouse with limited space. We understand this is not ideal but will assist with steadying hands if required.
